Comodo’s platform shares intelligence between every component of the platform and is therefore more secure than disparate products that claim best of breed but don’t share information.ĭragon Enterprise comes with OpenEDR, the world's most sophisticated and effective endpoint detection and response (EDR) available as open source. When an unknown file, a potential malicious threat, attempts to execute on an endpoint, the file is immediately encapsulated by Comodo’s auto containment technology, while users can immediately open files and run downloaded scrips and executables.Ĭomodo’s Valkyrie analyzes and gives a trusted verdict for every file – no other company will analyze and give trusted verdict for 100% of files on a network. It simplifies breach detection, protection and visibility by working for all threat vectors without requiring any other agent or solution. Dragon Enterprise with advanced endpoint protection (AEP) gives complete and actionable visibility into endpoints paired with a powerful zero trust architecture. Horribly out-of-date systems with no AV or AV half working.Comodo, the world’s leader of next-generation cybersecurity announces the availability of its new Dragon Enterprise Platform, offering enterprise-grade security against ransomware, data breaches and malware. But, it's LEAGUES better than what my clients had before. Having an 'advanced endpoint protection' suite is only going to protect our clients (those of us in the MSP field) from the everyday mickey mouse stuff. They will get in if determined enough, but will they get in undetected and/or will you notice? Now days, if someone wants in, they will probably find a way, it's like James Bond.

Keeping systems patched as best you can and some manual intervention. What is really going to stop an advanced, persistent threat? Diligence. Hence it's a suite of products to hopefully catch the bad stuffs. We all know AV isn't the single thing that's going to prevent a zero-day or a massive exploit. Apples to oranges about which paid AV is best.

If you do your homework on a client's needs and network, you should be able to poke holes through the software enough to make it effective and secure. I also only have a few clients right now so take that as you may. They are the only RMM / MSP system I have used thus far. I got a very fair discount without much haggling at all. They rebranded large companies DNS services, similar to OpenDNS that has been in the industry a long time and specializes in this field.Ħ.) CHEAP! Quite affordable even for a small Corp like mine. Did my homework, Comodo wasn't stupid and developed this product in a closet. Can configure DNS to provide a much 'cleaner' internet via DNS filtering/blocking. DO YOUR HOMEWORK and whitelist apps.ģ.) Patching system/agent works great thus far.Ĥ.) The remote client works fantastic, works as well as Teamviewer for me.ĥ.) Dome DNS service! (New). Although the interface is a bit cumbersome, once you get used to it, it's quite fantastic I find to have all my RMM & MSP tools in one spot!ġ.) Firewall WORKS - default DENY everything IN/OUT - do your homework, configure the ports/services you need in the whitelist etc.Ģ.) Containment seems to work quite well, again, the default is to deny apps or run them virtually. I've been using it for 6 months so far and found it quite scalable, greatly customizable and quite effective. If you set up the 'hardened' profile for something by default, it's going to default deny/sandbox everything and the firewall only has very basic exclusions.

Yes, it's going to sandbox block the crud out of everything by default. What do I mean by that? You have to configure it.

I also notice a lot of people/techs bashing their products but I think a lot of people fail to realize it's meant to be a true Enterprise product.

It seems their past was marred in a horrible growth phase. I have noticed a LOT of hate for Comodo in this forum.
